If there is “Adobe” in the title of the software, i probably have professional experience with it.

The apps i am the most confident in using are Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
During my final year in college i worked for “Gamekings” at Comedy Central. The time there was mainly spent filming and editting episodes for Comedy Central in Premiere Pro (in the studio). But i have also been technically involved in several live streams using OBS. After getting my bachelors degree i worked for a small company called “AV Facilities” where i editted commercials for “TV Flevoland” using Premiere Pro and After Effects templates. I also worked as a live camera operator at events like “Bevrijdingsfestival” in Almere.

Almost as long as i remember, I have been using and learning photo ad video editting software non-professionally aswell (i was the type of kid that started out making VCR videos with his friends).

Online Marketeer

I have years of experience in developing websites, doing social media maintenance, making online marketing campaigns and optimising websites for search engines. I would consider myself a jack of all trades and almost excellent at some.

In terms of Online Marketing i learned how to navigate my way around different types of Analytics and ad-managers. I did most of these things as an employee at an Affiliate Marketing company, where i worked as a front-end webdeveloper and general website maintenance employee. But alot of my knowledge has also been learned by creating websites and webshops for friends and relatives. A website like this only costs me one day to throw together, and potentially means alot more than than a days worth of energy to someone else.

I was responsible for keeping the datafeed and advertisement databases tidy and for importing new material into the system that connects advertisers and publishers. I was also a part of a “comparison tools” team (Energy contracts, lease cars, insurance, etc.). This is where i got to use Photoshop, where learned to operate several content management systems and where i further developed my knowledge on HTML/CSS and basic Javascript and PHP.

Before i decided to pursue a career in multimedia, my dream was to become a professional singer and/or multi-instrumentalist.

However, after being accepted into the Conservatory of Amsterdam as a pop vocalist and being a student there for a year, i started feeling that “being taught the right way to make music” drained my passion and creativity.

I decided to pursue my other “hobby” professionally instead (being a tech-savvy computer nerd). My passion for creating music was put on a low flame. Throughout the years I have been part of several metalcore bands as a vocalist, songwriter and producer. (Another fun fact is that half my life ago i was a contestent at “Popstars” until the audience voted me home). My musical potential remains largely dorment (and i don’t mind it that way).

I more than regularly visit drum and bass (and metal) events and festivals. Blackout events and artists have been amongst my favorites for a long time.
